Happy Labor Day Wisconsin! 😄

Today we celebrate the people who show up every single day and actually get things done. 🙌

The ones with calloused hands. ✅

🍲 The Only Chili Recipe You Need. 😄

September in southeastern Wisconsin has us feeling some kind of way. 👀

The mornings are cooler. The evenings are perfect. And something in the air is telling us it is almost time.

Almost time for CHILI SEASON. 🎉

We are not saying it is fall yet. The calendar says September 22nd and we respect that. 😄

But we are also not NOT making chili this weekend. 👀
What you need:
✅ 2 lbs ground beef or turkey
✅ 1 large onion diced
✅ 4 cloves garlic minced
✅ 2 cans diced tomatoes
✅ 1 can tomato sauce
✅ 2 cans kidney beans (optional, you know who you are) 😄
✅ 2 tablespoons chili powder
✅ 1 teaspoon cumin
✅ 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
✅ 1 teaspoon oregano
✅ Salt and pepper to taste
✅ Shredded cheddar, sour cream and cornbread for serving 🧀

What you do:
✅ Brown your meat and drain
✅ Sauté onion and garlic until soft
✅ Add everything else and stir
✅ Simmer on low for at least an hour. Two is better. Three is perfect. 😄
✅ Top with everything and serve to people who will immediately ask for the recipe

Either way here are some things to do in your garden right now before fall sneaks up on you:
🌸 Deadhead your perennials so they keep blooming as long as possible
