Daley's Done Rite Construction is proud to begin work on this stunning 1865 farmhouse.

We’re starting with a complete renovation of the second-level porch and all 6 pillars. Every piece of rotten and weathered wood will be carefully stripped away and replaced with new material — built to last, but crafted to look exactly as it did when this home was first standing.

Same character. Same details. Just stronger, safer, and ready for the next 160 years.

This is the first look at a project we are beyond excited to complete! We’ll be sharing more as the work on this historic home progresses.

🏠 Finished & Looking Sharp! 🏠

A few weeks ago, we started what was supposed to be a straightforward siding replacement to get this home ready for sale.

Once the old siding came off, we found something bigger: rotting wood and decay underneath.

We stopped, fixed it properly, and kept going:
• All damaged wood removed and replaced
• New window trim installed
• Full Tyvek wrap for lasting water protection
• Brand-new siding installed from top to bottom

The exterior is now solid, sealed, and ready for the market. No shortcuts. No covering up problems. Just the job done RITE 👍

🛠️ Progress Update from Daley’s Done Rite 🛠️

We were hired to replace this customer's siding in preparation for sale, but once we started peeling back the old siding, we uncovered a bigger problem.

Poorly installed windows had allowed water and moisture to seep behind the siding under the windows, leading to significant wood rot.

We’ve already:
✅ Removed all the damaged wood
✅ Replaced it with solid new framing
✅ Installed proper new window trim
✅ Installed Tyvek house wrap for a fully water-tight barrier so this issue can’t happen again

The siding work is next, and once everything is buttoned up we’ll share the finished photos.

🛠️ Full Deck Transformation!

We just finished a complete deck tear-off and rebuild for another great Daley's Done Rite customer!

✅ Removed the entire old deck
✅ Replaced all rotten joists
