Made a trip back to Newport Rhode Island this summer and at last visited the Isaac Bell House.
One of the early homes by architects Mckim, Mead, and White it definitely is not as extravagant as the typical Gilded Age cottages but most likely the greatest example of The Shingle Style and by far my favorite of the .

With such a beautiful spring day I had to take a minute to admire the house and views while doing a little trim prep on the party barn cupola at our Chester Springs project. Really excited to see this portion of the project come together!

The stain turned out great on this chestnut island top! The eat in L-shape chestnut portion flanks a marble slab and hosts an under mount sink. More photos coming soon!

A lot going on at our Chester Springs project! Stonework, hardwood flooring, tile, and pool are all underway. Big push over the next month to get this stage of the project wrapped and on to finishes!

This back to back fireplace has been one of our favorite features since we first saw it on paper. Great to see it coming to fruition and even more excited to show you all the final product! The prefabricated fireboxes made this install a breeze!

A set of winder stairs have been added to the West Chester Project to access the 3rd floor loft that was originally intended for unfinished storage. It was a bit of design challenge to honor and compliment the beautifully designed double landing open stair case while also dealing with the tighter floor plan of the loft. We think it turned out great! Keep a look out for project updates.
