We are excited to announce Tyson Hajicek, PE, as the next President of Moore Engineering. Tyson is the sixth President in the company’s 66-year history, building on a remarkable legacy of client service, technical excellence, and long-term stewardship.

Tyson brings more than 26 years of industry experience, including 20 years with Moore Engineering. Since joining the company in 2006, he has led projects, markets, production, and firmwide operations.

His experience, operational leadership, and collaborative approach position Moore Engineering to continue growing and creating new opportunities for employee owners.

This transition is part of our long-term succession planning as Kevin Bucholz retires. We are grateful for Kevin’s leadership and contributions to Moore Engineering during his time as President.

Congratulations, Tyson. We look forward to the next chapter.

A day dedicated to understanding North Dakota's wetlands.

Last week, Moore Engineering hosted Prairies & Potholes, a hands-on field day exploring the science behind our region's unique prairie pothole wetlands.

The event brought together 16 attendees from Moore Engineering, Meadowlark Environmental, North Dakota NRCS, North Dakota Wildlife Federation, Rock Leaf Environmental, and the University of North Dakota for an afternoon of learning and discussion in the field. Participants explored how prairie potholes were formed, examined soils and hydrology, identified native vegetation, and worked through wetland delineation concepts while gaining a deeper understanding of the ecosystems that shape our region.

A big thank you to educators Cami Dixon and Greg Larson for sharing their knowledge, and to Moore's Greg Meyer for helping bring the event together.

We're proud to support opportunities that connect professionals, encourage collaboration, and deepen understanding of North Dakota's natural landscapes and resources.
