(small stumps are no problem as well...all at reasonable rates!)

Removing stumps in tight spots.....just another day on the job!
Preserving the ferns was a priority for the customer and the new grinder is agile enough to bring the power to the stump without damaging valuable landscape plants and landscape features.

I’ve added a new machine to the lineup this week. This beast is going to help increase efficiency and capability in our tree stump removal operations. I’m really looking forward to the additional capability this Carlton 7015sp will provide!

I am very fortunate to work on some very interesting properties. This home sits in the woods on a very steep hill. At the bottom of the ravine there is a small stream with several small dams, a moss garden, and fern gardens.
I have to negotiate a narrow, steep footpath that switchbacks down to the lowest portion the yard. The upper yard areas are tiered with the beautiful stone walls you see in some of the pictures so the machine can't negotiate a more direct route to the work.
The time and craftsmanship put into these gardens is awe inspiring.

This kind of job is a ton of fun 😀
Using the mini Bobcat and brush grapple to rip out vines and briars so we can reclaim a portion of the customer's yard.

Had a challenging job today.

This was a large tree stump growing out of a stairwell and foundation. The only access to the work area was up a steep, 7' tall embankment. We had to figure out a way up the embankment as the machines couldn't negotiate that steep of a hill.

To get my machines in the yard, we had to load them on David's flat bed truck, drive them to the site, then drive them off the truck over steel ramps and into the yard.

Thanks to David Rickerman of Rickerman Tree Service for coming up with the job and lending his expertise to get it done. Now the customer is ready to start a new addition!

The machine is 12' long to give some perspective on how big the stump was. There is concrete from the old foundation visible in some of the pictures. The final picture is of David's 16' flatbed loaded with the grindings from this single stump!
