It's always exciting at the end of the year, and my unusual work assignments lately are no different. I've been spending a lot of time traveling the 395 corridor and rt 2 these last few months. I've been so busy freelancing for other companies that I've barely found time to put any dent in the wife's "HoneyDo" projects at home, let alone take on new clients and branch off on my own like I wanted to this summer. Promise I'll slow down near the holidays and catch up with all the friends and family I've promised to help resolve some electrical issues. You know who you are. With some of these larger projects I get involved with, I find I get attached to them at the end. You want the quality of the work to be accomplished to a high standard.
A few things that I've run into this last month are: Repairing Beachland Tavern's Sign and installing the new logo, printed by Fresh Ink, on the front of the restaurant. Office Door controls for a police station that burnt out; a photocell and time clock replacement for parking lot lights, installation for the State's WCPA (water reserve) adding a control box for future monitoring upgrades - in some really remote locations, remodel for assisted living facility and retirement home that had intense flood damage due to a sprinkler head issue, it ended up taking out the entire wing. Rewiring and upgrading an office trailer after troubleshooting it for a new job location and electrical requirements. Electrical shutdown for demoing of a retail store for new clients to move in. Industrial air handlers for temporary installation, going directly to the panel for multiple locations. It has been a very hectic month...
Looking forward to wrapping this year up and to start to finally slow down and to take on more personal projects and clients next year. Wish me luck!!!
