Olympus Maintenance of Utah LLC - 4327 West 8480 South, West Jordan UT 84088 (801-446-6021).
Laborers: Temporary full-time position. Fifteen (15) positions open: April 1, 2023 Thru November 30, 2023.
Work areas include: Salt Lake, Utah and Davis Counties. Daily transportation to work site will be provided by the employer.
Duties include: Mowing, trimming, edging, digging sprinklers trenches 3” wide 12” deep, planting trees, installing sod, raking top soil, mulch installation, w**d barrier installation. No experience required, no education needed, two (2) months on the job training.
Hours: 35-40 hours per week minimum with overtime Monday thru Friday- 8 am to 5 pm. Overtime and weekends may be available depending on weather and workload.
Wage $17.21 per hour with $25.81 after overtime 40 + per week per PWD. Employer will use a single work week for its standard for computing wages due. Pay period is every two weeks. Raises and/or bonuses at employer's discretion. Opportunity for higher pay dependent upon experience.
No option of board or lodging or other facilities is offer for this position. Employer will deduct all applicable Utah State and Federal Taxes required by law from each pay check.
Employer will provide, without charge or deposit, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job duties.
Reimbursed travel expenses from employee's home town to West Jordan, UT will be paid after employees completes 50 % of period of employment. Daily subsistence will be at least $14.00 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Five (5) installments of total travel cost will be added in bi-weekly pay on paycheck.
Reimbursement of all visa related, and border crossing cost will be within the first work week.
Olympus Maintenance of Utah LLC. Will provide or pay for the worker's cost of return transportation and daily subsistence from the place of employment to hometown if Olympus dismisses an employee prior to November 30, 2023. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment.
Olympus Maintenance of Utah LLC. will reimburse the H2B workers in the first workweek for all visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government.
Olympus will provide without charge all tools, supplies and equipment to perform the duties assigned.
Olympus will provide a 3/4`s guarantee of the workdays of each 12-week period during period of employment. This job is in connection with a future H-2B Foreign Labor Certification application.
