🏡 Another Challenge Solved by Cypress Southern!

After months of dealing with ice storm damage, this client reached out to us after several contractors and subcontractors had tried to find a solution—with no success.

The common recommendation? Tear it all out and replace it with something new. Unfortunately, that approach wouldn’t match the original character of this beautiful home and would have required replacing several additional doors and false frames.

We knew there had to be a better way!

Our goal was to preserve the timeless character and charm of this beautiful Garden District home along Bayou DeSiard while restoring it to its original beauty.

We custom-crafted trim and molding to match the existing details and special-ordered safety glass through our good friends at JP Glass and Exteriors Inc. With careful planning and attention to detail, we completed the installation in just one day!

The result? A beautiful restoration, the home’s original character preserved, and some over-the-moon happy clients! 🙌

At Cypress Southern, we believe great craftsmanship isn’t always about tearing out the old and starting over. Sometimes, it’s about having the skill, creativity, and experience to make the old look right again.

✨ Transformation Tuesday ✨

Check out this incredible transformation for the Johnson family with their beautiful new Western Red Cedar privacy fence!

Now the Johnson pups have plenty of room to run, chase squirrels, and relax in the shade. 🐾

This fence wasn't just built to look great—it was built to last.
We installed:
✅ A treated rot board to keep the cedar pickets elevated above ground moisture, helping extend the life of the fence.
✅ A buried anti-dig wire to help keep pets safely inside the yard and discourage digging underneath.

Whether you're looking to increase privacy, improve curb appeal, or create a safe place for your family and pets, Cypress Southern LLC is here to help.

From custom fences and decks to custom cabinetry and general carpentry, we take pride in building quality craftsmanship that lasts.
