SPIRIT OF GINETTE was built for the Royal Danish Navy and later found in a Polish scrap yard.

George Berry tells the rest of the story on board, from the full rebuild in Holland to the ice-class hull and 4,000 nautical mile range she has today. The full-beam master sits on the main deck, with up to eight guests accommodated in four staterooms.

Continuing her world tour, a 47m Sanlorenzo changes course this November and arrives in New Zealand.

Charters can begin in Auckland and the Hauraki Gulf, with Waiheke’s vineyards, beaches and islands at your disposal. Further north, Great Barrier Island and the Bay of Islands offer sheltered waters, quiet coves and local food and w**e ashore. In the south, Bluff is the starting point for Stewart Island and Fiordland, and the region is famous for its oysters and fresh lobster.
