Before ordering small brown river rock, measure the area, choose the planned depth, decide whether edging or a base is needed, and make sure the delivery spot is clear.

One more thing: Natural stone can vary in color and size from one load to another. A photo is helpful, but it shouldn’t be treated as an exact color guarantee.

A delivered pile still needs a plan for staging, spreading, equipment access, any required compaction, and the next stage of work. Those details affect where the load should go before the bed is raised.

The best time to think through placement is before the truck arrives.

Sharing a helpful resource for our Greenacres families.

The City of Greenacres Senior Health & Resource Fair is Saturday, September 26, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. at the Greenacres Community Center, 501 Swain Boulevard.

Admission is free, with health screenings, educational presentations, wellness information, classes and more than 30 participating vendors. The event is rain or shine.
