The Emerald at MetWest ✨🏗️

We’re excited to finally share the completed photos of The Emerald at MetWest in Tampa!

Built for ZOM Living and designed by LRK, this 8-story community features 375 apartment units, a partial wrap garage with 651 spaces, a rooftop pool, and 678,000 GSF of new construction.

We’re incredibly proud of the work our Tampa team put into this project and the finished product. A huge thank you to our talented trade partners and craftsmen who helped bring this project to life, and to ZOM Living for trusting Verdex to be part of it.

Last week, our Tampa team celebrated the end of summer with an escape room, putting their problem solving and teamwork skills to the test while enjoying some friendly competition along the way.

📚🚌 This morning, the Verdex team was proud to participate in the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County's Stuff the Bus school supply drive!

Throughout the month, our employees and industry partners came together to collect school supplies and make monetary donations to help support students and teachers across the The School District of Palm Beach County.

We're especially proud to support an organization that's close to home for us! Our VP of Business Development, Lisa King, serves as the Board President of the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County, making this initiative even more meaningful for our team.

We believe every student deserves the tools they need to succeed, and we're grateful for the opportunity to give back to our local schools and community!

Our summer internship program wrapped up with one of our favorite traditions, the end-of-internship presentations! 🎉

Each intern had the opportunity to showcase what they learned throughout the summer, and we couldn't be more impressed. From estimating and preconstruction to project management and field operations, they immersed themselves in every aspect of the construction process, gaining hands-on experience alongside our incredible teams.

We're incredibly proud of this year's interns and all they accomplished. Investing in the next generation of construction professionals is something we're passionate about, and we're grateful to provide opportunities that help young talent learn, grow, and build the foundation for successful careers.

Yesterday, our team had the privilege of volunteering with the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County's Red Apple Supplies program for one of our favorite volunteer events of the year! 🍎

Together, we packed more than 1,000 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to help students start the school year prepared and ready to learn!🎊 Every year this event becomes even more meaningful, and we're grateful to play a part in supporting children and families throughout our community!

The Red Apple Supplies program works year-round to provide free school supplies to Palm Beach County public school students and teachers, helping ensure every child has the tools they need to succeed in the classroom while easing the financial burden on families and educators.

A special thank you to A-Christian Glass & Mirror Company and Williamson Design Associates for volunteering alongside us. We love partnering with organizations that share our commitment to giving back and making a difference in the communities we serve!

We were proud to celebrate the ribbon cutting of Emerald at MetWest, the final piece of the 32-acre MetWest International mixed-use development in Tampa's Westshore Business District! 🎉

As the construction manager, it's incredibly rewarding to see this vision come to life. The new eight-story community features 375 apartment homes and ground-floor retail, completing a vibrant, walkable destination that brings together residential, office, hospitality, dining, and retail in one connected campus.

This milestone is a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and craftsmanship of our outstanding Verdex team. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with ZOM Living, MetLife Investment Management, and LRK Architects to bring this transformative project to life and create a lasting impact on the Tampa community.

The day focused on strengthening our commitment to safety, quality, innovation, and planning while sharing best practices that help us continue delivering excellence across every project. After a productive day of learning, the team put their skills to the test with a little friendly competition on the clay shooting course. 🏆
