What a fun project it was to work with HERO LODGE Or English River Outfitters to custom plan and develope 2 food plots for their property! We mowed down brush, cleared some trees, tilled and planted some winter greens. They allow veterans to stay at their fantastic lodge and hunt or fish and we hope the new food plots will help lead to some successful hunts this season and for years to come.

Food Plots are looking great this year with all the rain! We have been using electric fence to keep deer off portions of certain soybean and corn plots this year and it has been a game changer. In years past these plots would get eaten to the ground and not produce for late season. We dont fence off the whole plot as we want the deer coming to these locations throughout the year but at least now the fenced portions will be enough for some late season food!

It's been a busy and challenging burning season but we are working our way through the big list. With Timber burns gaining popularity we are learning more and more with each one we complete. Improving wildlife habitat throughout the midwest!🦌🦃🐝

2024 Was our best year yet! Thanks to all our great clients/friends and customers for supporting us and using us for your land management services we greatly appreciate it! Some awesome bucks have been harvested and our efforts to improve the pheasant and quail habitat have been working as we are hearing rising bird numbers on many farms. We are looking forward to a safe and successful 2025. Jesse Forquer
