Hey there!

My name is Mark, owner of BUILD Construction. I've been away for a few months consulting for a real estate development group and just wanted to reintroduce myself.

7 years ago I had the crazy idea to start BUILD Construction, hoping to be able to provide for my family, and hoping to just provide a good experience for my customers.

On a wing and a prayer, I took whatever work I could get, and I gave my very best to those brave, trusting clients who gave a kid a chance.

Along the way I started finishing some basements and I quickly found my favorite thing in construction. I loved the creative process, working with customers to create the perfect basement spaces for them. I saw these spaces take shape and I could see how these basements would become a central part of their homes, and how these basements would be a critical place that these customers would spend their time with friends and family for years to come.

Over time for me, BUILD has taken on the meaning of Building Up Individual Lives Daily. I still have the simple goal of being able to provide for my family, and to provide an honest, safe and enjoyable experience for those I get to work with.

While it was fun for me to take off so many hats for the last few months and play in the commercial construction world again, I'm really excited to put back on all my hats and to continue BUILDing basements.

I am working to fill my calendar right now, so if you or anyone you know is interested in receiving a custom basement experience without the custom price, I would love to talk with you.

Finally someone got it right.

The old van hit a mile mark today. A little over 3 years ago I made a risky decision to nearly drain my savings account to buy this van. Other than tires, oil changes and a couple preventative items, this van has not cost me anything extra. Here's hoping for another 3 years.

Don't know if I would have suggested changing cans out to lights. But this turned out pretty cool.
