We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of this project along the Rappahannock River in Warsaw, VA. Being trusted to work alongside a historic 1700s home is something we don’t take lightly.

A big part of this build was carefully selecting the right handmade brick to complement and match the character of the existing home, so everything felt like it belonged from the start.

Project highlights:
• Custom outdoor fireplace built for future pavilion integration
• Second matching brick firebox on the pavilion side
• 27-ft chimney
• Built-in wood storage + grill insert
• Handmade brick chosen to match the historic home
• Outdoor seating area designed to enjoy the river view

10 years ago, when our kids were still small, I would step in and help Allen on a few jobs for Premier Custom Masonry 🧱

The business was already his, but those days gave me such a deep appreciation for the long hours, the physical work, and the heart he puts into every single project.

I remember balancing little ones and job sites, feeling tired but also proud to be a small part of something he built with his own hands. ❤️

Some of those same customers are still with us today—repeat clients who have become more like friends—and we feel truly blessed to have them in our lives.

Looking back, my heart is just full of gratitude for how far we’ve come, and for everyone who has been part of the journey.
