🏠✨ We’re inspired by what’s possible when communities come together.

At this year’s Luxury Home Design Summit (May 18–20), an incredible network of donors raised $150,000 in support of affordable homeownership across Massachusetts — doubling last year’s total! These funds will help all 16 Massachusetts Habitat affiliates, including Greater Springfield Habitat for Humanity, continue building strength, stability, and self-reliance through homeownership.

We are especially grateful to every donor who contributed and to Adams + Beasley Associates for their outstanding leadership and generosity, which helped inspire this remarkable level of giving.

Here in Hampden County, every donation helps local families build brighter futures and stronger communities. Together, we’re building more than homes — we’re building hope for generations to come. ❤️

The average age of a first-time homebuyer in the U.S. reached a record-high 40 years old in 2025.

Forty.

That number should concern all of us.

Homeownership has long been one of the strongest pathways to stability, generational wealth, and stronger communities — yet it continues moving further out of reach for working families. And if the average buyer is struggling, imagine the barriers facing limited-income households trying to achieve the same dream.

This is not sustainable.
This is not acceptable.

We need bold action to increase access to affordable funding, expand attainable housing opportunities, and invest in pathways to homeownership for ALL families — not just those with high incomes or generational advantages.

Everyone deserves a fair shot at a safe, stable, affordable place to call home. 🏡 To learn more and get involved, visit habitatspringfield.org/advocacy

Today, the MassMutual Center in Springfield was buzzing with innovation, passion, and civic engagement at the Massachusetts Civic Project Showcase! 🎉

We’re proud to share that our very own Aimee Giroux participated as a community advisor, listening to presentations from students across Massachusetts on a wide range of issues impacting their schools and communities.

The showcase celebrates students in grades 8–12 through “science fair-style” presentations that highlight research, problem-solving, and civic action. It was inspiring to see so many young leaders using their voices to create positive change in their communities.

Thank you to the students, educators, and organizers who made today such a meaningful event! 👏 Generation Citizen Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
