Southside Place Community Garden Southside Place, Texas has a vibrant community garden on Edloe @ Jardin St. We invite you to get involved. You don't have to be a Southside Place resident.

Community gardens are a way to grow organic vegetables, fruits and flowers while socializing and helping to feed the poor. The City of Southside Place has generously donated the use of one city-owned, sunny lot so that we may install raised beds to grow organic produce. Volunteer gardeners may sow what they choose, pick what they grow, and donate the extras to the Houston Food Bank.

What a wonderful new addition to the community garden and to the City of Southside Place: A European-style Christmas market with a tree lighting ceremony. Great turnout yesterday for this chilly but heart-warming event!
