Schaffer & Sons recently had the privilege of working on a truly special home.
Here is the story...
Founded in 1924 by Theodore Schaffer, Schaffer & Sons Construction Company is now proudly operated by the 5th and 6th generations of the family.
Among the many homes built over the decades, one street holds a special place in the companies history, Schaffer Boulevard. In the mid 1900's, the third generation, Raymon Schaffer and his brothers, built multiple houses along this street, including the home at the center of this story.
In the spring of 2024 after a tornado struck Schaffer Boulevard, the current home owners reached out, hoping to have the home remodeled by the original builders descendants. Bringing the 5th and 6th generations back to Schaffer Boulevard to continue their family craft. Today, that remodel is nearing completion, a project bridging a century of craftsmanship and tradition.
This project has been an honor. Not many builders get the chance to follow in their ancestors' footsteps quite this literally, and we are grateful for every moment of it.
