Whales? In the mountains? Why, yes! I had the wonderful pleasure of creating this mural for Paul Wenke at the Valley Ace Hardware in Westcliffe over the summer. An experience that truly changed my life.

The Humpback "mom" is about to scale. Stand by it to see the wonder of how big these creatures are compared to our tiny beings. The "baby" is in toe, swimming alongside in a sea inspired by 'Starry Starry Night', one of Paul's favorite pieces of art. It was an exciting design let alone project to complete this past summer.

Thank you Paul, and to the wonderful staff at the hardware store who made this project so memorable.
