We made plans to recess a medicine cabinet in this wall. But of course there was a plumbing vent AND an old window buried behind the wall.

No problem though, we still got it moved!

Does “resale value” actually matter when remodeling?

We hear so many people share that they never use the tub, but want to put in a new one, for resale value. But NOT this client! They wanted something unique, with more storage. So they opted for a custom built linen cabinet to match their vanity.

How often do you see lights mounted on the mirror?!

This project had quite a fun transformation. During demo, we also found this fun message to “Gary” who might’ve not actually caulked the shower as requested, because it was leaking into the basement…

Formerly a badly water damaged custom shower transformed with LARGE format tile.

Shoutout to dft_tile for the heavy lifting on this bathroom project, installing all of the tile on the floor and shower. Good working with you again brother!

Is brighter always better?

We always try to add more light in a bathroom. In a shower especially.

But I wouldn’t pass up on an opportunity to make a dark/ black bathroom. Let me know if you agree.

Golden oak coming back in style?

We’ve had a lot more interest in stained cabinetry this past year. Maybe soon, everyone will be sick of white/ off white cabinets?

I hope your day is going better than this.

Will Aharon set the plumbing in the right location….?

Yup, with about a 1/4” to spare. What a guy!
