We’re proud to spotlight Holly Lurgio as part of our Women’s History Month series! 💙

For the past four years, Holly has led Community Outreach at Elm, turning her passion for helping others into meaningful impact. Inspired by her mom’s example that giving back “isn’t optional — it’s just what you do,” Holly plays a key role in initiatives like Salvation Army Angels, Dorm Essentials, Recharge Rooms, Bags for Bravery, and CANStruction. She’s especially proud of how our Elm team continually steps up to support the community.

A mom of three, married for 31 years, and a proud Red Sox and Celtics fan, Holly loves the beach, traveling to Italy, baking, and grabbing lunch at Crave Café. We’re grateful for the heart, energy, and dedication she brings to Elm and to our community every day. 💡✨

On Sunday, Elm's Brian Palazzi kicked off the first session of his 10-week beginner training program to help runners on Team No Sparks prepare for the Treehouse Runway 5K at Northampton Airport on May 3rd — and what an incredible start it was! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️✨

From first strides to big goals, this group is officially on their way. Let’s go, Team No Sparks! 💪🔥

For our first Women’s History Month spotlight, we’re proud to feature Tina-Marie, who has been with Elm Electrical for over eight years. She supports facilities with their electrical maintenance plans, helping keep them compliant with NFPA 70E and operating safely.

Tina-Marie says what makes Elm special is the people — a team you can truly stand behind. Her advice to women considering the trades? Just do it. Outside of work, she loves traveling to Greece, visiting Sturbridge Coffee House, and is currently learning to play the harmonica. We’re grateful for all she brings to the Elm team!

This morning, Elm Electrical proudly hosted the packing event for local college student Jillian Battles' "Bags for Bravery" project. For the fifth year in a row, Jillian and a team of devoted volunteers assembled care packages for active-duty service members and veterans through her self-started initiative. What began as a small personal project has grown into a community-supported effort generating thousands of donated items over the years—including toiletries, books, warm clothing accessories, snacks, and other comfort items meant to remind military members that they are appreciated.
