Big trees don't always make the best neighbors.
Overhanging limbs, storm damage, and expanding root systems can all become issues when a tree is growing close to a home, garage, or barn. Sometimes a quick assessment can provide peace of mind.

The crew removed two storm-damaged locust trees this week that were hanging over nearby homes. When a tree has structural damage, it's often only a matter of time before gravity takes over. Glad we could get these taken care of safely before they became a bigger problem.

The guys encounter a variety of wildlife living in damaged, rotted trees. This large section was safely relocated into the woods, and Mom rejoined them. Other times, we've had to reach out to wildlife rehabilitators to step in and rehome the occupants. Just another good reason to remove trees near homes and structures before they rot out and become a family home. We don't enjoy evicting such cute critters.

The storm season is here; now is a good time to pay attention to trees that may be showing signs of stress, damage, or decline.
A little prevention today can help avoid a much bigger problem tomorrow.
