Many of you have frozen pipes and here's some tips on how to thaw them out or keep them freezing on your own:

❄️turn all faucets on exterior walls on to a slow trickle to keep the water flowing.
💧 Keep your cabinets open underneath all sinks.
❄️ safely place a space heater in your crawl space near the waterline coming into the house.
💧 safely place a space heater near the pipes that are frozen or at risk of freezing in your home.
❄️ close air vents or block air vents in the crawl space.
💧If your water heater is in a closet make sure the door is open.
❄️If your pipes are frozen there's nothing we can do until they thaw and can see if there's a leak or burst pipe.
💧To determine if you have leak in the crawl space, turn off all faucets and check your water meter to see if the dial is continuing to cycle.

If you do have a leak or burst pipe please turn off your water and give us a call at 615-644-7445. Please understand that this is a busy time and if we don't answer please leave a message. You will get a call back - multiple calls will just cost more time so please leave a message and be patient.

Giant thanks to our city workers, EMS, Police, Firefighters, power company, and especially the linemen who have been out in the freezing wet temperatures for the last 24 hours to make sure the rest of us have power, warmth, and water.

We have been having cellular coverage issues and may not have received your calls.
We apologize! We've been working with T-Mobile for a few months now hoping that the service would improve. Last night we noticed that even at our office the cel service was completely nil. Absolutely zero coverage even with a new cellular booster. Voicemails, texts, and calls are sporadic and we now know that many customers are not getting through.
We do have a landline and when our office administrator can't answer, the call is supposed to be forwarded to our plumber's cell phone. We now know that those calls are getting dropped on the cellular end and voicemail isn't even reached.
We are reviewing other cellular companies now and hopefully we will have this issue resolved as soon as possible. In the meantime, please continue to use the landline at (615)644-7445 and our office administrator will take messages. If she's not available and your call is unanswered please try again in an hour.
We hope to have this all cleared up soon however we don't have a clear timeline yet. We will keep you updated as we have more information.

Friendly reminder that if you flush anything down the toilet other than a reasonable amount of toilet paper 🧻 (and waste 💩) you will probably encounter clogged toilets and lines. During this new experience of living with COVID19, if you’re needing to use items other than toilet paper please dispose of it in a garbage bag and don’t attempt to flush. This includes the *wet wipes, *baby wipes, coffee filters, socks, teeshirts, corncobs...

If you do encounter a blockage or plumbing issue we are still hard at work. As always we offer senior citizen discounts and Veterans discounts.

*for those with septic systems remember that wipes stay in your septic tank forever and will drastically lower capacity
