Yesterday was a big day at The Train Station! Our new concrete patio was finally poured, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. It completely changes the look of the building and is going to make an awesome outdoor seating area.
A huge thank you to our nephew, Derek Merritt of Merritt Contracting, LLC, for coming out and helping us. Concrete work is one of Derek’s specialties, and it definitely shows 💪 We absolutely love how the patio turned out. While Derek was finishing the patio, Jeff made good use of the leftover concrete and got six of our fence posts set. We were able to make progress on two projects in one day!
Derek will be back today to help Jeff cut the control joints in the concrete before it’s ready for the next phase. Seeing this patio almost finished really makes the vision for The Train Station come to life. We can already picture everyone enjoying this space, and we can’t wait to keep sharing the progress with you all!
