Thoughtful design can elevate even the most unexpected spaces.

PGAV partnered with Science City at Union Station to design a new experience for Science City restrooms that enhances accessibility, supports families, and incorporates opportunities for learning and discovery. Instead of replacing an aging 25-year-old restroom, Union Station chose to convert existing back-of house space into the new restrooms to free up space for a new exhibit as well as work with PGAV to elevate the design consistent with the Science City environment.

The space includes a family room, mother's room, companion restroom, sensory room, and interactive educational elements designed with guests of all ages in mind.

Please join us in thanking for her contributions to PGAV this summer. Sophia brought enthusiasm, dedication, and a strong work ethic to every project she supported, and we are grateful for the impact she made during her internship.

As she returns to the The University of Kansas for her final year in pursuit of her Master of Architecture degree, we wish her continued success in her studies and future career. We are excited to see all she accomplishes and look forward to following her journey. Best of luck, Sophia!

This summer, Julia worked in our St. Louis office and teamed up with Joe Kendell, PGAV Destinations intern to reflect on their experiences, projects, and growth over the past few months.

We are proud to have assisted Starlight and Variety Children's Charity of Greater Kansas City with a new free-standing sensory room at Starlight Theatre.

Tuesday's ribbon cutting celebrated an important step in making live entertainment more accessible and inclusive for all guests. As part of PGAV's commitment to designing welcoming, accessible, and inclusive environments across all building types, we are honored to have contributed to a project that will help more people enjoy the magic of theatre and live music.

The Ameristar St. Charles Conference Center was designed to serve as a premier destination for conferences, banquets, corporate events, and community gatherings. Featuring a flexible ballroom, adaptable meeting spaces, a commercial kitchen, permanent stage, and integrated production systems, the facility is equipped to host everything from large regional conferences to intimate events. PGAV provided architectural services in partnership with lead designer, Tandem.

The result is a dynamic venue that enhances tourism, supports economic development, and creates new opportunities for connection in St. Charles, MO.

Happy National Parks and Recreation Month!

Behind every beautiful park is a dedicated team working year-round to keep community spaces welcoming, safe, and thriving. The City of Leawood Parks Maintenance Facility was designed to support those efforts.

Designed by PGAV, the 47,000 SF facility provides modern workspaces, equipment maintenance areas, storage, greenhouse operations, and staff amenities that support the City's commitment to exceptional parks and recreation services. PGAV is proud to have partnered with the City of Leawood to create a facility that supports the people behind the parks we all enjoy.
