We at Gove Restoration and Old Wethersfield Shopkeepers want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part in our Bikes Along Main bike “map.”

Over the course of the installation, we were moved by how many people stopped to engage—sharing where they were visiting from or where their roots began. We welcomed tags from neighbors close by, visitors from other states, and even travelers from abroad, all helping to shape a powerful picture of connection.

Each tag became part of something bigger: a living map of community, movement, and shared story.

Thank you for making this project what it was. Your participation brought it to life in a way we will not forget.

We restored this beautiful barn in Killingworth using reclaimed barn board and eastern red cedar. The barn was then primed and painted two coats displaying this incredible color.

Gove Restoration was built on treating people with kindness and respect, operating with integrity, providing the highest quality of work, and enjoying what you do, all while working hard. Our father, Don Gove, was the backbone of that philosophy.

It is with heavy hearts for us to say that the man who started it all has gone to be with God. He was a faithful believer in God, an unapologetic patriot, husband, father, and grandfather who lived a full life with humor to the very end.

The way Gove Restoration operates remains the same as it did when it was started.

Rest in peace Dad. You will be missed by so many. Especially us. Here we go…
