Standard Builders is proud to support Bristol Hospital on an Interventional Radiology (IR) Replacement project, marking the start of a strong new client relationship built on prior success with GE Healthcare.

At just under 1,000 SF, the project required significant technical coordination, including a full MEP system replacement and complex electrical infrastructure to support advanced imaging equipment.

A major challenge arose when a 20-inch concrete beam was discovered at a critical core location. By partnering with a structural engineer, our team safely executed multiple large penetrations, maintaining structural integrity while keeping the project on track.

This project reflects SBIโ€™s ability to deliver high-impact healthcare work and strengthen partnerships that lead to future opportunities.

As Construction Safety Week comes to a close, we want to thank the teams across our job sites who continue to prioritize safety every day.

This yearโ€™s theme, ๐€๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ˆ๐ง ๐“๐จ๐ ๐ž๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ: ๐‘๐ž๐œ๐จ๐ ๐ง๐ข๐ณ๐ž, ๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐, ๐‘๐ž๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ž๐œ๐ญ, reinforced the importance of communication, accountability, and looking out for one another on every project.

Throughout the week, our superintendents recognized crews with coffee and donuts as a small token of appreciation for the work they do each day to help keep our jobsites safe.

Together, we packed backpacks filled with essential school and home supplies for preschoolers, helping set the foundation for confidence, learning, and stability at an early age. Each backpack also included a handwritten note of encouragement, adding a personal touch to remind these children they are supported from day one.
