It's with great sadness that we announce the passing of one our own. Dustin Boltz, one of the mixer drivers here, passed away unexpectedly over the weekend. We had the great pleasure of working alongside Dustin for a little more than a year and a half. In that time, he was respected by his coworkers and customers he delivered to. He was dependable, had great character, and always lent a hand to those who needed it. Fellow drivers would describe him as the kind of person that leaves a big and lasting impression with his contagious laugh and positive attitude. The absence of his kind soul here is felt by all who knew him. We would ask that you join us in praying for his wife, children, family, and friends in this time of great loss.

Dustin’s family will be receiving visitors at Charlton & Groome Funeral Home on July 2, from 6-8pm (619 Lifecore Dr, Fishersville, VA).

Blue Ridge Ready Mix would like to invite our customers to a dinner meeting on THURSDAY 2/23/2023 at 6:30 PM. Patrick Sullivan of Master Builders will be giving a presentation for this meeting. Patrick has 10 years experience as a Master Builders senior lab technician in their Beachwood, OH lab (Petrography, Product development, Engineering, and Concrete Laboratories). He also has experience as a senior lab tech at their Trostberg, Germany research lab (Minerology Lab). Patrick has 12 years of field experience as a territory manager, specializing in mix optimization and troubleshooting.
His presentation will cover Concrete Characteristics, Qualities, Control of Pours, Reaction, Admixes Available, as well as other topics. This will be an informal Q&A for a large part of the meeting. Come enjoy a meal on us and learn best management practices from a leading expert in the concrete industry!
