Pond Build Day 23. ♻️

While constructing the waterfall and operating in soft ground we were caught in a heavy thunderstorm that caused the wishbone under the excavator to suction into the ground and get stuck.

Thankful to Josh Berry for coming out and giving us the room we needed to climb out with his equipment.

We’re used to doing things on our own, but sometimes it pays to have good friends around.

Initial construction of a sandstone pillar with a capstone in the middle of the pond as a landmark for when it fills up.

People will be able to jump off of it, swim through it, or kayak under it. ☀️
