We recently framed this 38’x40’ garage with 12’ walls, including a 2’x16’ front bump-out and a 10’x30’ covered porch off the gable end. Windows and entry doors are installed and ready for the homeowner to finish siding and roofing.

This Northwoods-inspired garage build checks all the boxes for function and style.

Finished with CertainTeed vinyl siding in Cyprus, paired with board-and-batten vinyl on the covered porch gable and chimney chase for added texture and character. The roof features architectural shingles, and the exterior is anchored by Andersen 400 Series black windows for a sharp, modern contrast.

The Therma-Tru entry doors were custom painted by the homeowner—because personal touches matter. A cedar post-and-beam porch adds warmth and durability, while the interior includes a one-stall garage, a dedicated workspace, and a full-length loft for extra storage or future flexibility.
