This early-morning photo taken by our drillers makes me think of the song, “Lord, I thank You for sunshine, I thank You for rain.”

East Tennessee has certainly had its fair share of rain lately, and while it can make for some challenging drilling conditions, we’re thankful for every drop. The rain is important for groundwater recharge and restoration—and now, our drillers are especially thankful to be back out there doing what they do best!

Thankful for the sunshine, thankful for the rain, and thankful for the hardworking men who keep drilling! 💧🙏🏼🇺🇸

We had a visit from Leisa with Cattlemans Corner today! She was telling us about the new steakhouse, hotel, spa and rooftop area opening soon in Morristown. She also mentioned they cater! We can’t wait to see how awesome this place will be!

This company installed the well on my grandparents' property over 30 years ago, and my family has always used them for repairs across the years. Most recently, today, I had to call because of some issues with the tank and pipes. Both people I talked to at the office were extremely nice and helpful, and they even had a database, when I gave them the address, that kept track of the history of the well here and all of their work on it over the years (last time in 2011). They were prompt in sending two guys over today and had a new tank installed in less than 2 hours. The crew onsite were very friendly and professional as well. I don't leave a lot of reviews, but because of the professionalism and customer service I received, I felt I should. Will continue to use Joe Samples company for many more years to come!

Happy Birthday, Jared!
Jared’s official hire date was June 25, 1996, when he was just 15 years old, making $5.00 an hour. To say he’s played a role in the success of JSWD would be an understatement.
If something is broken, he can fix it, If there’s a problem, he’ll find a solution.
Thank you, Jared, for your 30 years of hard work, dedication, and the countless ways you’ve helped make JSWD what it is today.

It is well known that JSWD is built on family, and Brayden is a perfect example of that tradition. As a third-generation driller for Samples, drilling is in his blood. Before his passing, his grandfather, Buford, proudly worked as a driller, and today his father, Jason, continues that legacy by running a rig. Brayden has jumped right in, and it’s clear the work comes naturally to him.

Happy Birthday, Brayden! We are truly blessed to have you as part of the JSWD family, and we look forward to watching you carry on this proud tradition for years to come.
