🚨Behind The Build🚨

Meet Tim!

This week, we’re introducing you to Tim! 👋

Tim has been part of our team for the past four years and is one of our hardworking carpenters. Day in and day out, he gives his time and skills to our company and our customers, helping bring projects to life and making sure the job gets done right. 🏠🔨

But when Tim isn’t busy on the job site, his most important job is spending time with his six children. ❤️ Family means everything to Tim!

When he gets some free time, you can usually find him enjoying the outdoors—whether he’s foraging for mushrooms to eat 🍄 or out tuna fishing 🎣🐟. Tim definitely knows how to stay busy both on and off the job site!

We’re thankful for the last four years, Tim, and for everything you bring to the crew! 👏

I haven’t posted a video of myself in a while, so here’s a little compilation from today’s job site adventures! From checking in on projects to seeing the progress firsthand, there’s never a dull day when you’re working in construction.

I’m lucky to get to be a part of bringing these projects to life—and I can’t wait to share more of what goes on behind the scenes! 🏠✨

Meet Kaden!

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Kaden!

Kaden has been around the company for a long time — literally! He started going to work with his dad at just 12 years old and officially joined the company at 15. As the owner’s son, he’s grown up around the work and has learned the business from the ground up.🚧

Before becoming one of our dump truck drivers and equipment operators, Kaden spent time building and gained valuable hands-on experience in the construction field. He also attended vocational school for building and construction, further developing his skills and knowledge of the trade.

Today, Kaden puts that experience to work as a dump truck driver and equipment operator, helping keep our jobs moving and getting the job done. His dedication, work ethic, and years of experience make him a valuable part of our team. 💪

When he’s not working, you’ll most likely find Kaden spending time with his girlfriend Piper, hunting, four-wheeling, riding snowmobiles, or developing his property.🚜

Being the owner’s son means Kaden has been around this business his whole life, but he’s earned his place here through his own hard work. He’s the kind of all-around guy you want on a job site — whether it’s running equipment, driving truck, building, or simply stepping in wherever he’s needed. We’re proud to have him as part of the team and excited to see where his hard work takes him. ❤️

Meet Tod!

This week, we’re putting the spotlight on Tod — our Earthwork Foreman and someone who has been a part of our team for years!

Tod is the kind of guy you can count on. His loyalty, dedication, and work ethic never go unnoticed. He’s often the first one here in the morning, ready to get the day started. His years of experience and commitment to the team make him someone we’re truly grateful to have around. 💪

When Tod isn’t on the jobsite, you’ll find him enjoying plenty of hobbies and time with the people he loves. He enjoys hunting, fishing, spending time in his garden, and keeping bees as a beekeeper. He’s also no stranger to the kitchen or the grill — Tod loves to cook and grill up something good for his family and friends. 🔥

And, of course, some of his favorite time is spent with his family — especially his wife, children and his new granddaughter, who has quickly become a very special part of his life. ❤️

Tod has given this company years of hard work, loyalty, and dedication, and we are very grateful to have him on our team!

Thank you, Tod, for always showing up, putting in the work, and being someone we can count on. We’re lucky to have you on the team! 👏

Meet Dan!

Dan wears many hats as our operations manager. Or as he likes to call himself, "Dan the Man."

Dan has been with us for many years, and throughout that time, he has shown an incredible amount of ambition, loyalty, dedication, and pride in everything he does. He’s the kind of person you can count on—whether it’s to get the job done, step up when needed, or simply be there when things get tough.

Dan has truly become our right-hand man and an important part of who we are as a company. His loyalty and work ethic have never gone unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for everything he has given to us and our business over the years.

When he is not managing our operations you can find him soaking up time with his children, racing snowmobiles in the winter, playing co****le in the summer, or making people laugh pretty much everywhere he goes.

Around here, we have a saying that pretty much sums it up:

“Everyone should have a Dan.”

And we’re pretty lucky that we do. ❤️

With temperatures pushing 90° today, Leah made sure our crew stayed fueled with popsicles and Gatorades to help beat the heat. 🍦🥤

Leah loves these guys, and we appreciate everything they do. They work hard every single day, no matter the weather, to keep our projects moving and deliver quality work for our customers.

An Augusta local with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Mike wears many hats as our Sales Representative, Estimator, and Project Manager. From your first conversation to the finished project, he’s by your side every step of the way, making sure everything runs smoothly and that every detail is taken care of.🏡

What sets Mike apart is the pride he takes in every project, whether it’s a small repair, a complete transformation, or a new build. Customer service is his specialty, and he believes every homeowner deserves honest communication, quality craftsmanship, and a great experience from start to finish.🫶

Mike is also committed to continuously growing in his field. He is always educating himself on the latest building products, installation methods, and industry best practices so he can provide our customers with the best solutions available.🔨

Meet Greg!

Welcome to the very first edition of our Behind the Build series! Every Wednesday, we’ll introduce you to the people who make G.A. Doughty Construction what it is. From the office to the job site, we’re excited to give you a closer look at the amazing team behind the work.

First up is our owner, Greg.

Greg has been in the construction industry since 1995 and is passionate about delivering quality work while building a company that treats customers and employees like family. Construction has always been a part of Greg’s life for as long as he can remember. Greg is the man behind every single thing we do here at G.A. Doughty Construction. When he’s not working, you’ll most likely find him up at camp in Greenville, snowmobiling in the winter, on the boat in the summer, spending time with his kids and grandchildren, or enjoying just about anything outdoors.❤️

Greg’s dedication, leadership, and love for what he does are the foundation of our company, and we’re proud to have him leading the team.🫶
