Here is a video rendering of a recently proposed planting design in the cul-de-sac of a resort community. The creation of a berm allows for greater privacy between the residences, and increases the planting canvas to show off layers of textures and seasonal colors. Accent boulders arrayed around the berm establish a rhythm and assist the eye in reading the planting layout. In the daytime, or at night with soft lighting, this raised planting island would be a welcoming feature for homeowners and guests.

With most architectural firms offering video renderings of proposed construction projects, why shouldn't you see your landscape design too? Here's a snapshot of a recent planting design that was modeled digitally. The homeowners already installed their favorite specimen trees and bed edging, and needed a design for the rest of the plantings.
