This Richmond Hill kitchen got a complete refresh — updated with custom shaker-style doors, new bronze hardware, and soft-close drawers and hinges for a cleaner, more modern feel.

We also refinished the cabinetry with Swiss Coffee by Benjamin Moore, added Coastal Plain by Sherwin-Williams to the island, and finished it off with a custom-built range hood to bring the whole space together.

🏡 Another home refreshed on beautiful Oatland Island.

Every project starts with a vision and ends with craftsmanship that speaks for itself.

For this exterior refresh, our team completed:
✔️ Refreshed the fascia, soffits, and exterior trim.
✔️ Re-stained and sealed the front entry door.
✔️ Refreshed the screened-in porch.

✨ Powder Room Refresh ✨

Not every renovation requires a full gut job to make a big impact.

For this half bathroom renovation, we focused on updating the space with carefully selected finishes that completely transformed the look and feel of the room.

Scope of work included:

✔️ Wallpaper installation
✔️ New vanity sink and faucet
✔️ New mirror installation
✔️ New light fixture
✔️ New backsplash installation
✔️ Re-siliconed around the sink and toilet for a clean, finished appearance
✔️ Final detail and finish work

Although we didn’t get before photos on this quick-turn project, the finished result speaks for itself. The combination of the wallpaper, gold accents, and updated fixtures gave this powder room a timeless and elegant look.

🏠 Bluffton Buildout Complete 🏠

We’ve been busy lately and never got around to posting the final photos from this 600 sq. ft. buildout in Bluffton, SC.

This project was a complete transformation, and we’re proud of how everything came together. From framing to the finishing details, our team handled nearly every aspect of the build to create a clean, functional, and modern living space.

Scope of work included:

✔️ Framing
✔️ Drywall installation and finishing
✔️ Interior doors and trim
✔️ Flooring installation
✔️ Kitchen cabinetry installation
✔️ Bathroom finishes and fixtures
✔️ Paint and final finish work
✔️ Complete interior buildout

The only trades not performed by RMC Construction were the plumbing and electrical work.

🚿 Bathroom Transformation 🚿

This project started with a leaking tub/shower surround that had caused water damage behind the walls. We completely removed the existing unit, inspected the affected areas, and repaired the damaged materials before installing the new shower.

Scope of work included:

✔️ Demolition and removal of existing tub surround
✔️ Repair of water-damaged drywall and surrounding materials
✔️ Thorough sealing and waterproofing of all critical areas
✔️ Installation of new prefabricated walk-in shower system
✔️ Trim and finish work for a clean, updated look
✔️ Final cleanup and quality inspection

When it comes to bathrooms, the installation is only as good as the preparation behind the walls. Taking the extra time to properly repair and seal everything helps prevent future issues and gives our clients peace of mind.

🏡 Before ➡️ After

This project started as a request to convert a second living room into an additional bedroom. The original plan was to simply build a wall across the room, but after reviewing the layout, we designed a better solution that maintained access to the garage while creating a functional hallway.

To keep everything looking original to the home, we matched the new arched opening to the existing archway off the kitchen and installed the same style bedroom door found throughout the house, complete with matte black hardware.

Scope of work included:

✔️ Custom framing and wall construction
✔️ New hallway access to the garage
✔️ Drywall installation and finishing
✔️ Relocation of electrical switches for improved functionality near the new bedroom entrance
✔️ Matching arched opening detail
✔️ New bedroom door installation
✔️ Baseboards, quarter round, and chair rail installation
✔️ Paint-ready finish so the homeowner’s children can add their own personal touch

Mold remediation + attic restoration complete 💪

This space had major moisture and mold issues, damaged plywood, poor lighting, and outdated insulation. We came in and completely transformed it while helping create a cleaner and healthier environment for the family.

✔️ Removed damaged plywood + insulation
✔️ Sealed problem areas with spray foam insulation to help prevent heat and moisture buildup
✔️ Applied RM mold treatment throughout
✔️ Installed new AC unit + dehumidifiers
✔️ Applied mold-resistant coating
✔️ Added new lighting to brighten the entire attic
✔️ Deep cleaned and reorganized the space

We’re happy to have been able to help the Laffite family not only restore this space, but also improve the overall air quality and help prevent future mold issues 🙏

Didn’t even get final-final pictures because we were so caught up admiring the transformation in person and staying busy moving onto the next projects. Very grateful for the continued support and trust from our clients.

Outdoor kitchen build officially underway 🔥

This custom setup is being built to last using heavy-duty 18ga metal framing, Hardie backer, polished concrete countertops, and will be fully wrapped in beautiful stone veneer for a clean high-end finish and long-term durability.

This outdoor kitchen will feature:
• Built-in grill
• Side burner
• Flat top grill
• Mini outdoor refrigerator
• Sink
• Pig roaster

All premium appliances from BBQGuys have officially arrived and we’re about to start kicking and burning on this one. We’re very excited to bring our clients vision to life and create a space their family and friends will enjoy for many years to come.
