We had some fun in the office this week celebrating National Roofing Week!

As part of our celebration, our office team took part in a friendly co****le competition during our National Roofing Week lunch. Each month we enjoy putting together a fun challenge for our staff, and this month's competition brought plenty of laughs and friendly competition.

It's a great way for everyone to take a break from the daily routine, connect with coworkers, and celebrate the amazing people who help make CEI a success every day!

As we wrap up National Roofing Week, we're celebrating the incredible people who make CEI successful every day.

Throughout the week, our crews and office staff enjoyed a few well-deserved celebrations. In the office, we gathered for lunch and a friendly co****le competition, while our service teams were treated to breakfast. Our roofing and sheet metal crews also enjoyed lunch on CEI as a small token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication.

We are incredibly grateful for every member of our team and all they do to support our customers, projects, and company. What better way to celebrate National Roofing Week than by recognizing the people who make it all possible!

Today, we’re highlighting the training and development that help keep our team safe and successful on every project. From OSHA 30 and CPR certification to equipment operation and specialized safety training, our employees are continually building the skills needed to work safely and efficiently.

Some of our CEI crew had an absolute blast at the Cleary Sip & Savor event! 🎉🍷

We loved coming together to support future graduates and help make sure more students can cross that graduation stage. It was a fantastic night filled with great food, fun games, and even better company!

Today, Kirk Oesterle, one of our CEI Foremen, was honored with the Achievement Award from Walbridge for his dedication to safety, outstanding performance, and strong commitment to Walbridge’s mission, spirit, and core values while working at the Blue Oval Battery Plant in Marshall, MI.

On 10/6/25, after 9 unannounced penetrations were made into the cell plant, even though the other contractors did not follow protocol, Kirk and his crew immediately got to work — repairing, tracking, and securing each one. With heavy rain in the forecast and two late-reported penetrations (including one above an electrical panel), Kirk stayed late and crossed the building to ensure everything was properly sealed and safe.

No hesitation. No complaints. Just dedication, communication, and getting the job done right.

Because of Kirk, a potential hazard — and major damage — was avoided.
