Commercial building in Belleville took a heavy enough impact from an ice covered tree to move a 16” steel I-beam lentil!😳🥶 That’s a lot of weight. And had they not reached out to us, they may have had a contractor who just did the repair as written by insurance, which was basically patch work. If you have a heavy impact to your property like this, always have an engineer you hire look at the damages! The insurance will just right up what they see. And a contractor who either doesn’t know any better or just wants the quick money will leave you on the hook for extensive damages down the road.

A large hickory tree came down on this home and racked all of the framing on both stories. Allstate wrote up some minor repairs without having an engineer look at the damages! If this homeowner hadn’t done their due diligence and sought a contractor knowledgeable in this type of process, they could’ve been stuck paying thousands out of pocket for extensive repairs down the road. We have an engineer on the way!💪🏼
