Adjusters aren’t experts on policy, they are investigators that interpret policy.

Their job is to show up, replay, or rebuild the events that took place to cause the damage. They then, interpret the policy to entend coverage that is granted.

Before the adjuster is on site, it’s our job as the contractor to recognize the duties of an adjuster, understand the importance of storm dates, and numerous other variables that go into the claims process. It’s more than being a roofer, it’s being a consultant and providing the service needed. With SHEARMAN R&C, feel safe in knowing that we are here to provide a claims service as much as a quality roofing product.

I will always encourage homeowners to look at the back grounds of companies. Below are some of the criteria that needs to be met:

~do they have experience working with insurance, what do they do the most of?
