We’ve had a huge increase in firewood requests. To help as many families as possible get through the next few days, we’ve decided to sell firewood by the bundle instead of full ricks or full cords for now.

Not everyone needs a full rick — some folks may only need enough wood to get through a night or two. By offering bundles, we can spread the supply out and help more people in the community.

We also don’t want to turn into the local grocery stores with all the shelves cleared out 😅 — this helps keep things fair and avoids anyone being left without firewood during the cold snap.

We truly appreciate everyone’s understanding and support. Message us if you need firewood and we’ll get you scheduled as availability allows. Stay warm and stay safe ❄️🪵

This video, shared by a mutual friend, captures a microburst – a terrifying display of nature's power. It starkly illustrates how quickly destruction can unfold, often in ten seconds or less. In this instance, it was an eight-second burst of hurricane-force winds that ripped apart both dead and healthy tree limbs. We've seen the aftermath firsthand, responding to countless calls for blown-over trees, snapped trunks, and massive limbs on homes, among other storm-related devastation.

Location: Avenues area in Wichita Falls to North Side of town.

Wind damage 💥
This limb was on the verge of falling through the roof and into the house! Luckily it was secured before tragedy struck. It was better to tie and brace it than try to remove it with wind gusts slamming into the basket and operator at 53.5 mph at certain points. We expect to see a lot of damage this week. 🌬 ⚠️ 🚧
