This old fence might have been able to withstand one more strong windy day before it would completely collapse.

We tore this one completely out and started over.
✅ dug and set heavy post in concrete
✅ added new brackets and post caps
✅ added new 2x4s
✅ added 1”x6”x6’ Cedar from The Fence N' Post
✅ build new Walk Gate
✅ build 12’ double gate using custom built gate frames from The Fence N’ Post

This property's existing fence collapsed in a recent windstorm, requiring immediate replacement. We were able to tear out the existing fence, dig and set new post and build new. We used 1”x8”x6’ Japanese Cedar from The Fence N' Post.

We undertook a quick renovation for this project, substituting the outdated cedar panels with new wood and galvanized gate frames to ensure a long lasting and functional double gate. The fence features 1”x8”x6’ Japanese Cedar boards in a board-on-board style, paired with galvanized gate frames on Cox hinges from The Fence N' Post. Due to the fence's installation on a curb, a substantial gap existed beneath the gates over the driveway, prompting homeowner concerns regarding pet safety. To address this issue, we devised a solution by adding hinges and cedar boards to effectively close the gap and open when the gates required opening due to the incline in the driveway.
