🧱💪 BUILT DIFFERENT. BUILT TOUGH. BUILT TO LAST. 💪🧱

Another big project knocked out this week by Mares Masonry LLC! 🔥

Approximately 700 concrete blocks laid, countless hours of intense physical labor, determination, and dedication went into getting this bad boy done!

Projects like this remind us exactly what we’re made of. Masonry isn’t for the weak. It takes strength, skill, patience, endurance, and a whole lot of heart. When the work gets tougher, that’s when you truly find out what sets you apart from the competition.

At Mares Masonry, we don’t back down from hard work. WE’RE BUILT FOR IT. 💪

Whether it’s a small repair or a major block foundation project like this one, our mindset never changes. We show up, we put in the work, and we push ourselves to deliver the best craftsmanship possible.

We don’t believe in cutting corners just because the job gets difficult. We believe in dedication, quality, and taking pride in every single block we lay.

We’re not here to be average. We’re here to set the standard. 🦁

A huge shoutout to our hardworking crew for putting in the sweat, effort, and dedication it takes to make projects like this happen. Nothing gets accomplished without a strong team behind it!

Mares Masonry LLC restored two deteriorating pillars in El Dorado by rebuilding the top sections with cylinder blocks, repairing cracks, and reinforcing the areas beneath the existing caps. We added new flashing, replaced damaged shingles, applied a mortar layer followed by two layers of stucco, and prepared the surfaces for repainting. The homeowners were happy with the finished work, and so were we—thank you, Jackie, for choosing us; it was a pleasure!

This brick mailbox project for a good friend included installing three address blocks along the front. The added blocks give the mailbox a cleaner, more functional way to display the address. 🧱

It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve posted anything, but we’ve been staying busy, and I have a few projects I’ve been wanting to share with you guys.

This one is definitely one for the books and a project I’m very proud of. Seeing the finished result was a reminder of why I started doing this in the first place — taking someone’s vision and helping turn it into something real.

One of the sayings I try to stand behind with Mares Masonry LLC is:

“Dream it. Believe it. Build it.”

Because to me, we’re more than just a masonry company. We’re here to help bring ideas to life and help homeowners create something they can be proud to call home.

For this project, we had the opportunity to completely transform the exterior. We demoed and rebuilt the masonry on the outside of the home with brick, along with building a new brick mailbox, brick pillar, and brick porch area. It was a lot of work, but seeing everything come together made it worth it.

I also got the opportunity to work alongside my buddy Juan with M&A Concrete, who handled the flatwork on this project. If anyone is looking for quality concrete flatwork, patios, driveways, sidewalks, steps, or stamped concrete, I highly recommend reaching out to him. It’s always good when different trades can come together and give the homeowner a complete transformation.

Thank you to our clients for trusting us with their home and allowing us to be part of making their vision become a reality.

You dream it. You believe in it. We build it. 🧱💪
