True Grit Communication is currently hiring for the position of Fiber Optic Technician. We are looking for hard working individuals that take pride in their work and are interested in the opportunity to move up in the company quickly.

Job Description:

Traveling to and working on industrial construction sites including solar farms, wind farms, BESS (battery) yards, and substations across the United States.

All employees will be expected to learn on the job how to route, install, strip, splice, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cable as well as some cat5 and cat6 terminations.

This is a traveling job. Our employees are on the road a maximum of 3 weeks at a time before receiving a 3-4 day rotation period (not including travel days home and back to site).

When on the road, employees are required to work up to 10 hours per day Monday through Saturday. Additional overtime during our busy times may be available.
True Grit pays for all travel expenses and a daily meal per diem.

All employees will be provided their own company vehicle that they will be expected to keep clean and maintained (company pays for all maintenance).

Pay Scale and Benefits
Starting pay: $18-$24 (will differ with prior experience)

Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Clean driving record
