Kim on Harborlight in Harbor Isle receives our Best Blooms of the Week. In truth, she could win that designation any week of the season, because she always has something blooming in her numerous flower beds and planters. However, to keep so many flowers going during this hot dry July takes a lot of dedication, so the recognition is well deserved. Enjoy this peek into Kim and Rick's beautiful backyard!

The Franklin Lawn Service Best Blooms of the week go to Rose Ann on Kessler St. A row of deep red hardy hibiscus line the back fence of her flower garden. I remember these huge flowers from about a decade ago when our forner customer Martha tended them. The gorgeous blossons have continued to thrive under new owner Rose Ann's care. Plus, Rose Ann has put in other gardens, window boxes and potted plants that are attracting butterflies and admirers alike. These coneflowers caught my eye in particular. Enjoy!

Congratulations to Deb on Riverside Boulevard for having the Best Blooms of the Week! It was no surprise that Deb would be a winner at some point in the season, her well-tended flower beds and pots have flowers blooming continually. However, since I don't usually work on Mondays (that is the day I watch my two grandkids) I haven't been around to snap a photo. However, on Monday the 4th of July I was working, and seeing all of this beauty made me not even mind having to work a bit on the holiday!

Congratulations to Susan on Bullinger Street who has our featured Lawn of the Week. This fescue lawn is green, thick, and weed-free and makes the street look awesome. Susan is also helping the neighborhood look great and be a little more neighborly by volunteering on the Benjamin Hills/Pleasant Valley Neighborhood Association Board.

Got in the mowing truck to see if we could cut some lawns. Thenthe sprinkles started. Then we saw how full the Big Ditch is. Back home to wait for drier weather.
