The Sunflower State Journal reports, “at a fundraiser Thursday night…sponsored by 55 different lobbyists businesses and political insiders,” Laura Kelly announced for re-election.
Kelly said she deserved another term in office because, “she wants to be known as the economic development Governor.”
First, Laura Kelly told us she wanted to be the Education Governor, then she tried to shutdown every Kansas school.
Now, after devastating our state’s economy with shutdowns that have bankrupted more than 30% of our small businesses, she wants to call herself the “economic development Governor.”
Laura Kelly is the Shutdown Governor.
Laura Kelly shut down our economy and now Kansas is in the bottom third of all US states for economic performance [tracktherecovery.org].
And as the graphic attached shows, new data out today proves Kansas has the worst unemployment rate of any state in the Great Plains region—dead last.
She tried to shut down all of our public schools, setting our kids back years.
Now she says she deserves another term because she’s the “economic development Governor.”
Leadership isn’t making up new names for yourself.
Leadership means getting results and the results of Laura Kelly’s shutdowns have been devastating for Kansans.
In 2022 we need to shut down Laura Kelly so Kansas can finally recover.
