Some of the most important parts of a remodel are the things you'll never see when it's finished! 🔨

Here's a good example from a bathroom remodel I recently completed.
Before closing up the walls, I added solid blocking anywhere the glass shower door and grab bars would eventually be attached. I also hooked up the water and tested all the new shower fittings before covering everything up.
It's a whole lot easier to find and fix a leak now than after the walls are finished! 😅

The finished product matters, but so does what's behind it.

Sometimes a project doesn’t have to be big to make a space work a whole lot better!

I recently did a couple of projects for a repeat customer. I installed a new storm door between the garage and back patio, and we also tackled a problem with the covered patio getting a little too much sun.
She wanted more shade without spending a fortune, so I found some economical roll-up sun shades and added the blocking and tie-downs needed to make them work with her existing patio.
Nothing too fancy—just a simple solution that made the space a lot more comfortable and usable. 👍
And I always appreciate getting a call from a repeat customer. It means a lot knowing someone was happy enough with my work to have me back!

Well… apparently I’ve been a little better at remodeling houses than updating Facebook lately. 😅
It’s been a while since I’ve shared what I’ve been working on, so I figured this was a good one to start with!
I recently finished this complete basement remodel, including new flooring and trim throughout, a new bathroom with heated tile flooring and a custom Onyx shower with a floating bench, along with a TON of custom cabinetry and shelving.
A big shout-out to Ryan at Wichita Custom Cabinets for all the custom cabinetry. He did an awesome job bringing everything together!
I really enjoyed seeing this one go from an unfinished basement to a completely finished living space.
