This house had a woodpecker problem. Then a carpenter bee problem. Then a red-door problem. Sixty holes in the trim. We patched every one, rebuilt what the bugs ate, and painted that door black. Close to 60 holes in the trim. Woodpeckers, carpenter bees, the whole crew. That trim had more holes than a screen door at a fireworks stand.

New owners are fixing up the whole place, and it needed it. We filled every hole, did the carpentry the bugs left behind, and took that bright red front door to black. Now it looks like it belongs behind a gate again.
