Welcome to Aquatic Artists' page! About My Company:
Aquatic Artists is a waterfall building company that designs and builds natural stone waterfalls for pool builders, landscape professionals and their clients in NJ, PA, DE, MD, NY and CT. Aquatic Artists has the most comprehensive body of work on the market today. All our waterfall photos are organized, cataloged and searchable by key w
ork or reference number on our website. Our teams designed and built every project on the website and we can give any one of them as a reference. This is the culmination of our life’s work. I hope you enjoy viewing it as much as we enjoyed creating all these beautiful water features. www.aquaticartists.com
About Me:
My name is Chuck Rienzi, I am the president of Aquatic Artists®. My career in the green industry started when I was 15 years old. I started cutting lawns in the neighborhood. It developed into a landscaping business that paid for my business degree at Rutgers University. After graduating college in 1995, I went full time and we moved into all aspects of landscape construction. This is where I developed my love for building water features. We have built hundreds of ponds and waterfalls in the last 19 years. In 2003, I decided that I wanted to focus in what I love to do the most. I changed my business name from Chuck’s Landscape Design (how original!) to Aquatic Artists. 100% of our business is building waterfalls. About Our Team:
Too many times, companies focus on marketing and sales and forget to pay homage to the guys in the field that come to work every day and make it happen. I am fortunate to have an amazing team that has been with me up to 13 years and built over 700 waterfalls. They are the best waterfall builders on the east coast and they make my life enjoyable. I love them like family. Our organization does not have any managers or administrative staff. The entire company consists myself and my team in the field. They are an amazing self-managing group of professionals that build 60-70 waterfall projects a year in NJ, PA, MD, DE and NY. Why we are different:
This is all we do. We generate 100% of our business revenue designing and building natural stone waterfalls. We do not install pools, landscapes, hardscapes or do anything else. Our Body of Work – We have the most extensive body of work on the market today. Most of the time, clients do not know what they want until they see it. Our website has over 500 photos of 200 different waterfall projects. We have something for every taste, budget and yard. All our Photographs are organized, cataloged, easily searchable by key work or reference #. This is the best way to generate ideas and actually see what it will look like. Computer programs are great for designing pools and landscapes. However, they can not replicate art. What we do is art and the only way to “get it” is to see it and talk to the guys that built it. Lifetime Warranty – We guarantee the work as long as you own the pool. If anything goes wrong, except for acts of nature, we come out and fix it for free with a smile. No fine Print! Waterfall University – We built a training area at our shop where our new hires are thoroughly trained by our experienced guy on the skills of waterfall building and creating an exceptional customer experience. Technology and Communication – Every person in our company speaks English and has a company issued laptop and smart phone. All our job files are digital and shared. This way every team member has every piece of job information, everywhere, all the time. Effective communication is a LAW at Aquatic Artists! We are not stone Masons – Most stone masons build fire places and outdoor kitchens. When they build waterfalls they tend to look like fire places and outdoor kitchens. Visit the renovations section of our website at http://www.aquaticartists.com/why-we-are-different to view a few waterfall projects that we were called in to rebuild. This is what happens when no expectations are set up front. You want to stay away from waterfalls that do not have planting space, is out of scale (usually too big and narrow), looks like a pyramid, has a lot of stacked rock of similar size and has a lot of visible piping or cement. We are not Landscapers – If you find a landscape contractor that builds waterfalls, it is normally less than 10% of their business. You can usually tell by their portfolio or website. Their body of work will be mostly patios, plantings and other landscape stuff. There will normally only be a few waterfall projects or several pictures of the same job. As a consumer, you deserve to be shown a variety of examples of the work. If a contractor says they can’t show you a picture because every project is “different”. Tell them “Chuck from Aquatic Artists can“!
