Welcome to Aquatic Artists' page! About My Company:

Aquatic Artists is a waterfall building company that designs and builds natural stone waterfalls for pool builders, landscape professionals and their clients in NJ, PA, DE, MD, NY and CT. Aquatic Artists has the most comprehensive body of work on the market today. All our waterfall photos are organized, cataloged and searchable by key w

ork or reference number on our website. Our teams designed and built every project on the website and we can give any one of them as a reference. This is the culmination of our life’s work. I hope you enjoy viewing it as much as we enjoyed creating all these beautiful water features. www.aquaticartists.com

About Me:

My name is Chuck Rienzi, I am the president of Aquatic Artists®. My career in the green industry started when I was 15 years old. I started cutting lawns in the neighborhood. It developed into a landscaping business that paid for my business degree at Rutgers University. After graduating college in 1995, I went full time and we moved into all aspects of landscape construction. This is where I developed my love for building water features. We have built hundreds of ponds and waterfalls in the last 19 years. In 2003, I decided that I wanted to focus in what I love to do the most. I changed my business name from Chuck’s Landscape Design (how original!) to Aquatic Artists. 100% of our business is building waterfalls. About Our Team:

Too many times, companies focus on marketing and sales and forget to pay homage to the guys in the field that come to work every day and make it happen. I am fortunate to have an amazing team that has been with me up to 13 years and built over 700 waterfalls. They are the best waterfall builders on the east coast and they make my life enjoyable. I love them like family. Our organization does not have any managers or administrative staff. The entire company consists myself and my team in the field. They are an amazing self-managing group of professionals that build 60-70 waterfall projects a year in NJ, PA, MD, DE and NY. Why we are different:

This is all we do. We generate 100% of our business revenue designing and building natural stone waterfalls. We do not install pools, landscapes, hardscapes or do anything else. Our Body of Work – We have the most extensive body of work on the market today. Most of the time, clients do not know what they want until they see it. Our website has over 500 photos of 200 different waterfall projects. We have something for every taste, budget and yard. All our Photographs are organized, cataloged, easily searchable by key work or reference #. This is the best way to generate ideas and actually see what it will look like. Computer programs are great for designing pools and landscapes. However, they can not replicate art. What we do is art and the only way to “get it” is to see it and talk to the guys that built it. Lifetime Warranty – We guarantee the work as long as you own the pool. If anything goes wrong, except for acts of nature, we come out and fix it for free with a smile. No fine Print! Waterfall University – We built a training area at our shop where our new hires are thoroughly trained by our experienced guy on the skills of waterfall building and creating an exceptional customer experience. Technology and Communication – Every person in our company speaks English and has a company issued laptop and smart phone. All our job files are digital and shared. This way every team member has every piece of job information, everywhere, all the time. Effective communication is a LAW at Aquatic Artists! We are not stone Masons – Most stone masons build fire places and outdoor kitchens. When they build waterfalls they tend to look like fire places and outdoor kitchens. Visit the renovations section of our website at http://www.aquaticartists.com/why-we-are-different to view a few waterfall projects that we were called in to rebuild. This is what happens when no expectations are set up front. You want to stay away from waterfalls that do not have planting space, is out of scale (usually too big and narrow), looks like a pyramid, has a lot of stacked rock of similar size and has a lot of visible piping or cement. We are not Landscapers – If you find a landscape contractor that builds waterfalls, it is normally less than 10% of their business. You can usually tell by their portfolio or website. Their body of work will be mostly patios, plantings and other landscape stuff. There will normally only be a few waterfall projects or several pictures of the same job. As a consumer, you deserve to be shown a variety of examples of the work. If a contractor says they can’t show you a picture because every project is “different”. Tell them “Chuck from Aquatic Artists can“!

🌊🔥 35 feet of natural stone, a massive walk-in grotto, spa rockwork AND fire features—this backyard is about to get the WOW factor!

Join Chuck Rienzi at the Aquatic Artists facility in Williamstown, NJ, as he gives you a first look at a massive Ultimate Grotto Advanced Waterfall System that has been fully fabricated and staged before heading to its final destination.

And this one is going to be spectacular.

The grotto itself features approximately 6 feet of interior height and reaches 7 feet high at the top, creating a spacious interior with a side entrance for easy access.

But the grotto is only the beginning.

When completely installed, the entire natural stone system will span approximately 35 feet. Large boulders will extend from the right side of the grotto, while additional boulders on the left will be positioned to surround and integrate a spa into the overall design.

🔥 To take the finished feature to another level, Advanced Waterfall Systems Fire Rocks will also be incorporated along the top—combining natural stone, moving water, and fire into one dramatic backyard centerpiece.

What you're seeing in this video is the staging process, one of the final steps before the system is prepared for shipment. Staging allows our Craftsmen to lay out the major components and visualize how the entire feature comes together before it heads to the jobsite.

For homeowners, it's a behind-the-scenes look at just how much planning, craftsmanship, engineering, and preparation can go into creating a large-scale custom water feature.

For more than 25 years, Aquatic Artists has been transforming ordinary backyards into extraordinary outdoor destinations with natural stone waterfalls, grottos, and custom water features.

And we can't wait to show you this one when it's finished.

35 feet. Grotto. Spa. Fire. One incredible backyard transformation coming soon. 🌊🔥

🌊 Your waterfall starts coming together long before we arrive in your backyard.

Join Chuck Rienzi at our Williamstown, NJ headquarters as he shows you one of the behind-the-scenes steps Aquatic Artists uses to help make the installation of your natural stone waterfall as organized and efficient as possible.

Before your waterfall reaches your property, the system is carefully prepared at our facility. Individual pieces are numbered and marked with alignment points, and our team takes photos and videos documenting how everything fits together.

Why does that matter?

When our Aquatic Artists Craftsmen arrive at your home, they already have a detailed roadmap for putting the waterfall together. Instead of figuring everything out from scratch in your backyard, much of the planning and preparation has already been completed.

That means a more organized and efficient installation process with less guesswork on the jobsite.

For more than 25 years, Aquatic Artists has specialized in creating custom natural stone waterfalls, grottos, and water features. Today, we combine that craftsmanship and experience with the engineering behind Advanced Waterfall Systems to make the installation process even better.

It's another example of how much work happens behind the scenes before you ever see the water flowing.

🪨 Real natural stone.
📐 Carefully planned.
🔢 Numbered and marked.
💦 Designed to create the WOW factor in your backyard.

Ready to transform your backyard with a custom water feature?

💦 Clean lines. Elegant finishes. The relaxing sound of cascading water. Meet the finished Regent Project.

Take a look at the completed Regent Project, a Formal Standalone Advanced Waterfall System crafted and installed by the Aquatic Artists team.

Measuring 1.5 feet high by 6 feet wide, the Regent features beautiful Picasso Travertine Tan veneer paired with Tan Cast Concrete Caps. Now with the water flowing, you can see how the architectural lines, warm stone tones, and movement of the waterfall come together to create a sophisticated focal point for this outdoor space.

The Regent also proves that you don't need a massive water feature to make a dramatic impact. Its compact footprint makes it possible to bring the beauty, movement, and relaxing sound of water into outdoor spaces where a larger natural stone waterfall or grotto may not be the right fit.

🌊 FOR HOMEOWNERS:
For more than 25 years, Aquatic Artists has been creating water features that turn ordinary outdoor spaces into backyard destinations. From natural stone waterfalls and grottos to refined formal designs like the Regent, we can create a feature that complements your home's architecture, landscape, and personal style.

🏗️ FOR CONTRACTORS:
That field experience led to Advanced Waterfall Systems, providing contractors with engineered waterfall systems designed for more efficient and predictable installation. The Regent gives pool builders, landscapers, and outdoor living professionals another way to offer clients the WOW factor—with a more formal, architectural aesthetic.

🌊 Watch 20 feet of natural stone waterfall come to life!

In this installation timelapse, follow the Aquatic Artists Craftsmen as they transform an ordinary backyard into the beginnings of a beautiful outdoor oasis using an Advanced Waterfall System.

This impressive one-tier natural stone waterfall measures 2.5 feet high by 20 feet wide, creating a dramatic focal point while maintaining a low, natural profile that blends beautifully into the surrounding property.

Once the waterfall installation was complete, our team sloped the backside with topsoil, preparing the area for the landscaping and plantings that will eventually surround the stonework. As the landscaping matures, it will help integrate the waterfall even further into the property—creating the appearance of a natural rock formation emerging from the landscape.

🌊 FOR HOMEOWNERS:
For more than 25 years, Aquatic Artists has designed and built natural stone waterfalls, grottos, and water features that transform backyards into private outdoor destinations. Thoughtful grading, stone placement, water flow, and landscaping all work together to make the finished feature feel like it truly belongs.

🏗️ FOR CONTRACTORS:
That hands-on experience led to Advanced Waterfall Systems, where we engineer natural stone waterfall systems that help pool builders, landscape contractors, and outdoor living professionals deliver spectacular results with a more efficient and predictable installation process.

This project is a perfect example of the combination:

Aquatic Artists craftsmanship. Advanced Waterfall Systems engineering. One incredible backyard transformation.
