Each backyard comes with its own challenges, and this one definitely kept us on our toes.

We had to work around limited space and a big elevation change, but that’s what made this project truly one of a kind.

This backyard had nearly a 6-foot drop from the house to the back of the lot, which can add a significant amount of cost to a pool project because of the extra structural and drainage work involved.

At the same time, elevation changes like this can create opportunities for more unique layouts. 💦

At night, this pool looks unreal. 🌙

✔️ Reflective during the day. Glowing at night.

The glowing tile makes every step visible after dark. Definitely one of our favorite builds we’ve ever completed. 👊💦

A lot of companies just sell you pre-made bullnose coping. It comes pre-curved, you pay a premium, and when it's laid on a freeform pool it ends up in tiny pieces with awkward little angles everywhere.

We use straight-edge coping, cut it to the shape of the pool, and then I use my own bullnose tool to shape the curve by hand.

This way you get one smooth, continuous edge that looks clean and is safer for the whole family. Better design and safety in one detail.

Hot tub comfort hack👇

Instead of wrapping spa benches all the way around, we leave one side open, because when the water gets too hot, you naturally want to stand up and cool off, but still stay in the conversation.

And you're still left with seating for 8.

A small design tweak that makes a difference when you actually use it.

The Naturi natural beach pool brings in a more relaxed, spa-like approach.

They have subtle bubbles that rises from below, so no blasting jets, just a smooth, calming feel.

And here we have about a 45° tanning ledge so you can actually lay on it, and have a soft backrest built right in.

We can also adjust shapes, refine details, and dial things in on-site, so the end result fits exactly how you want it to look and feel.
