Yaniv walks through the benefits of radiant heating in this lower-level renovation, from the comfort of warm floors to the careful planning and thought process behind the system’s layout and installation.

Another look at the progress on our radiant heating installation. 🔥

This system consists of six loops divided into two heating zones, allowing for better temperature control throughout the space.

Before the floors are finished, we’re making sure the tubing layout, spacing, and connections are all done properly.

Comfort starts beneath your feet. 🔥

A behind-the-scenes look at the installation of our hydronic radiant heating system on a luxury home renovation in Long Island.

By circulating warm water through carefully installed PEX tubing beneath the floor, radiant heating delivers consistent, even warmth throughout the space—without relying solely on traditional forced-air heating.

No cold floors. No cold feet.

QuietRock drywall is being installed in the theater room as part of a complete sound-control assembly for our client.

QuietRock uses multiple dense layers and a special sound-damping material to reduce vibration passing through walls. It is specifically engineered to limit sound transfer between rooms. The result is a more immersive theater experience.

This is the stage where the plans begin to feel like a home. With sheetrock installed, the proportions of each room, the ceiling details, and the connections between spaces come into focus.

Going above and beyond happens before the French doors are ever set.

Here, the rough opening receives self-adhered VYCOR flashing, a custom copper sill pan and a continuous bed of sealant before the door assembly goes into place. It creates multiple layers of protection so water that ever gets past the exterior finish has a controlled path back out instead of reaching the framing.

Then the unit is carefully leveled, plumbed, squared and secured so the doors operate properly and the weather seals perform as designed.
