November is Slips, Trips & Falls Prevention Month. Here safety is more than a priority. It is a core part of how we work every day.

Many workplace injuries can be prevented through awareness and proactive safety habits. From keeping walkways clear to addressing hazards promptly to staying attentive and wearing proper footwear, every small step contributes to a safer workplace.

Safety is not just about responding to hazards. It is about preventing them before they happen.

See It. Fix It. Report It.

What's in the air matters. Our Indoor Air Quality technicians work in the ductwork to help keep the air inside buildings cleaner.

IAQ Technicians remove dust, debris, contaminants, and buildup that can affect air quality, airflow, and system performance. By keeping ductwork clean, they help improve airflow, support HVAC efficiency, and help create cleaner indoor environments for the people inside them.

It is hands-on, sometimes dirty work that makes a difference in the places where people work, learn, heal, and live. Good air doesn't happen by accident.

The system is installed. Now it's time to start it up.
That's where our start-up technicians come in. Once a system is ready to be started, our technicians are on the jobsite testing, calibrating, and fine-tuning heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.

They check pressures, temperatures, controls, and more to make sure everything is operating safely, efficiently, and the way it was designed to.

It's detail-oriented work that requires a lot of technical knowledge, problem-solving, and a sharp eye for the little things. Because getting the system installed is one thing. Making sure it works exactly as it should is another.

When something is not working, our service technicians problem solve to figure out why.

Our service technicians inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems across the buildings we all rely on every day.

From routine maintenance to complex problems, no two service calls are exactly the same. It takes technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to think on your feet to keep systems running reliably and safety daily.

Their work does not just fix problems - regular maintenance can help catch them before they become bigger ones.

Diagnose it. Fix it. Keep it running.

Who keeps the hot things hot and the cold things cold?
Our mechanical insulators play a vital role in ensuring HVAC systems operate efficiently.

Their work is a craft that requires exceptional attention to detail, technical skill, and a commitment to safety in everything from open mechanical rooms to tight, complex spaces.

While much of their work happens behind the scenes, the impact is visible in every building they touch. Their expertise helps improve performance, conserve energy, and create lasting results that stand the test of time.

A good weld starts with knowing what you are welding.

Our welders and pipefitters work with the piping systems that carry heating, cooling, and water throughout buildings in all the industries we serve. Every connection takes a meticulous eye, skill, and an understanding of how the entire system works.

But their expertise goes beyond the weld.

All of our welders hold Vermont plumbing licenses, giving them a strong knowledge of the piping systems they work on and the ability to help troubleshoot and support others in the field.

Skilled hands. Technical knowledge. One important part of the team.

From our shop to the jobsite.

Sheet metal installers are the people who bring ductwork to life in the field. They measure, fit, lift, position, seal, and secure the pieces that move heating, cooling, and ventilation throughout a commercial building. It's physical, hands-on work where accuracy matters and teamwork keeps the job on schedule.

And because every jobsite comes with a different building, layout, and system, you never quite know what the day will bring.

If you like working with your hands, solving problems, and seeing the finished product, sheet metal installation might be a career that lasts a lifetime.

Last week, we were proud to not only participate in the Women Can Do Conference, but also be a sponsor of an event that gives young women the opportunity to explore careers, try something new, and see themselves in industries they may not have considered before. Connecting with students and sharing what careers in HVAC and construction can look like was a great opportunity to show that there is a place for women in every part of our industry.

From flat sheets of metal to the ductwork that keeps buildings comfortable.

Our sheet metal fabricators bring plans to life in the shop by measuring, cutting, shaping, welding, and assembling the pieces that eventually make their way to the jobsite for our team to install.

Every measurement matters. Every cut matters. Every connection matters.

Their craftsmanship creates the foundation for efficient, reliable HVAC systems long before the ductwork ever reaches the field. From the shop to the jobsite, our fabricators help build what keeps buildings comfortable.
