So this is a pipe burst we did recently in Richmond, we pulled 60' of new HDPE sewer line under 2 lanes of a busy main road. So in other videos I've posted you've seen what the bursting setup looks like on both ends but this is what is actually happening underground. The reason we exposed the section in the center is because we had to spot an 8" water main and confirm we were safe to pull past it, its hard to see in this video but there is a plastic water main about 12" above in the bottom right corner

Another pipe burst we just did in Burlington, 50' pull under the footer and navigated it under the existing 6" water main and tapped it into the city main. Anyone who has done these before knows its a lot of work to get everything setup but a lot of time saved on the back of the the project by going this route.
