So 2020 has certainly been...interesting! Not to mention challenging, scary at times, isolating and sometimes depressing. However, there have also been many blessings along the way, and it is those that we choose to focus on and take with us.
We are so fortunate that the landscaping industry was allowed to return to work early with the ability to keep our workers safe.
We are fortunate that our government has provided subsidies, loans and support to so many Vermont businesses and families.
We are grateful to live in a state that buckled down and did what was necessary to keep our residents safe, ranking us fourth in the country with the least number of confirmed coronavirus cases ( Strong!).
We are forever grateful for the doctors, nurses, EMTs, firefighters, and countless other emergency workers who have been on the front lines of this battle.
We are grateful for our local vendors, who have been innovative and responsive to changes in how they do business in order to serve their community.
We are grateful for our employees who have stood with us through this pandemic - their courage and loyalty has proven their character tenfold.
We are grateful for our customers, who have been patient, understanding and supportive during times of uncertainty.
We are so grateful for our kids, who have not only embraced but also excelled in their schoolwork, making our lives less stressful.
And finally, we are grateful for the lessons this pandemic has taught us. Lessons in preparedness, patience, discernment, the value of friends, family and gatherings, and all the things that we may normally take for granted.
We appreciate all that everyone has done to support us through these crazy times, and we look forward to what the future holds.
Take care of each other... ~Bill & Lisa
